Could you be our newest Team Member?

We are currently recruiting for a Paraplanner - candidates from a range of levels will be considered from trainee to more experienced.

Full support with professional exams will be provided with the opportunity to progress upon completion into a Financial Planner roll if desired. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team in a central location with career progression available.

This role would suit a numerate, professional individual with a keen eye for detail and a "can do" attitude.

What does a Paraplanner do?

Working closely with the Financial Planner and Administrator teams, your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Financial Planners in preparing recommendations for clients
  • Preparing and maintaining client files, including all compliance documentation, and updating of the back-office system
  • Suitability report writing
  • Completion of application / proposals forms in line with the recommendations set out, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and stored on internal systems compliantly
  • Continuing to build and maintain a high level of up-to-date industry knowledge and legislative/regulatory developments through continued personal development and your ongoing study towards achieving the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Dip PFS).
  • Preparing recommendations; including full research and detailed analysis

Is Training provided?

On the job training will be provided and full study support given in the attainment of the Level 4 Diploma qualification in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) and beyond.

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Numerate
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level time management skills
  • Experience within a professional environment
  • Coachable and committed to achieving the knowledge and expertise required
  • Computer literate with a good workable understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • An understanding of Financial Systems such as Intelliflo, Iress Exchange, Selectapension desired but full training will be provided
  • Graduate or equivalent
